Maya Sherman, an AI Policy Researcher, Ethicist, and Author, joins this episode of AI, Government, and the Future by Alan Pentz to explore the crossroads of responsible AI, the future of work, and digital transformation. They also dive into the role of governments in regulating AI and India's approach to both regulating and expanding the technology.
Maya has over a decade of expertise across AI policy, technology consulting, product design, diversity, inclusion, geopolitical research, and social technology. She plays a key role as a Scientific Council Member with the Israeli Association of Ethics in AI (IAEAI) and serves on the Board of Fidutam, contributing her knowledge as a responsible AI specialist.
In addition, Maya has taken on various roles, such as an AI Expert Mentor at GLEAC, a Tech Development Fellow at the American India Foundation, and a Digital Transformation Consultant at Karo Sambhav. Maya also co-authored the books: "The Ethical Governance of Artificial Intelligence in the Public Sector" and "Making the Public Service Millennial."
