At 29 years old, Mike earned a spot in the first-ever 40 Under 40 group by the Middle East Policy Council and is a member of Foreign Policy for America and the OODA Network. As the main editor, he contributed to "Cyber War & Cyber Peace" (I.B. Tauris, 2022), a collection of insightful essays on cyber conflicts in the Middle East.
Before joining Third Way, Mike directed the Cyber Program at the Middle East Institute and served as Associate Director of the Qatar-America Institute. He is also the author of "Cyber War & Cyber Peace in the Middle East: Digital Conflict in the Cradle of Civilization."
